Thomas Finch Martin

Thomas Finch Martin, 92, of St. Clairsville, OH; passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at home.

He was born June 30, 1933 in Fairmont, WV; the son of the late Henry Morris and Della Marie (Koloski) Martin.

He was a retired shop foreman at McElroy Mine; a U.S. Marine Korean War Veteran; attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville; and was a member of the St. Clairsville American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Y. Martin; his second wife, Jan Martin; brother, Henry Michael Martin; and grandson, Andrew Rosen.

Survivors include five children, Teresa (Richard) Hobe of Springboro, OH, Kevin Martin of Moundsville, WV, Carol (Tom) Rosen of Brownstown, MI, Ann (Jeff) Balgo of Palm Bay, FL, Dr. Mary (Bob) Olson of New Martinsville, WV; two step-daughters, Jana (Melanie Domyan) Highwart and Tammy (John) Schaffer; two brothers, Bernard (Barbara) Martin of Willis, MI and Ronnie (Christine) Martin of Monongah, WV; twelve grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10am until time of Memorial Mass at 11am with Fr. Priyesh Sebastian as Celebrant at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 610 Jefferson Ave. Moundsville, WV 26041.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Veterans charity.
