To all of Tom´s Siblings, There is no way to fill the hole in my heart at the loss of my true friend that I have known "literally" my entire life! We were born 4 days apart and lived a few houses apart in Evergreen Park. (You all lived at 725 Wick Blvd and I lived at 734 N Evergreen.) We grew up together and a group of us stayed friends all our lives. I was the one who drove Tom to Akron to attend college, in my old 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire, which I sold to your dad when I went into the Navy in 1968. Although we were all separated by thousands of miles, at different points in our adult lives, we always managed to stay in touch and even had reunions where we could get together with old friends to reminisce and laugh. Tom was a true and faithful friend and I will miss him the rest of my days! He was a "One of a kind!" Rest in peace my old friend! Rick Morandi

Dear Matlock Family, I am so sorry to learn that Tom passed away. He was a wonderful brother-in-law, and always made me laugh. He was a riot when he would arrive at my parent's house on Christmas wearing his silly Santa Clause outfit (with his dark hair showing below his hat), and handing out gifts. So many fun memories! I will always remember him fondly, and with a chuckle, in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Irene Sawyer
