Thomas McCray Obituary
Thomas "Mack" McCray, Sr., age 79, was born on July 12, 1945 in New Orleans, LA. He departed his earthly home on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Mr. McCray was educated in the Orleans Parish Public School System and was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Sabra McCann McCray for 55 years and to this union, three children were born, Letrece McCoy, Thomas McCray, Jr. and Sabrina Brazil. Also survived by seven grandchildren, four siblings, four brothers in law, four sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close family, church members and friends. All are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Thomas "Mack" McCray, Sr., will be held at Greater Carver Baptist Church, 3343 Metropolitan Street, New Orleans LA 70126 on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10 am. Internment Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094. Visitation 9 am in the church. Please sign online guestbook at www.charbonnetfuneralhome.com.
