Of all the things Skip was to me, a coach, a friend, a counselor, a mentor...the role that made the biggest impact on my life was the one of father figure. He taught me so much about both baseball and life, and that made all the difference in the man I am today. He was always quick to share a bit of wisdom, humor and a smile every time I saw him. I am so grateful to the family for sharing your Dad with us. Can´t wait to take the field for the Skipper on the other side! On There!

In memory of Skip, we honor and celebrate a remarkable individual whose impact on our lives will be remembered fondly. Skip was more than just a coach; he was a teacher, a mentor, an advisor, and a storyteller whose words resonated within us and kept us entertained. His dedication to the game, and his genuine passion for nurturing the potential in others left a lasting mark on the many lives he influenced.
Skip's impact as a coach extended beyond the field. He possessed a rare gift for recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of those he recruited and were under his tutelage, and he tirelessly worked to help each individual unlock their true potential. His guidance and positivity inspired us to push our limits and strive for greatness. Skip's legacy will continue on through generations, as his teachings continue to impact the lives of those he touched.
His ability to share stories that introduced us to legends of the game and taught us invaluable life lessons was unequaled. As I reflect on the time we spent together and conversations we shared, I find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the memories we all carry and the stories we pass on to others.

Skipper was an incredible mentor to me at a time in my life when I needed it most. While baseball was his passion, Skipper always stressed that education for himself and his players was the main priority. His guidance both on and off the field will always be greatly appreciated. God speed Skipper....
