Thomas Dean McDonald passed away in
Kalispell, MT on June 4, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born May 3, 1976 in Fort Knox, KY to Sandra Ovitt and Francis McDonald Jr., Thomas spent his early years growing up in Dixon, MT, later moving to Polson and settling in
Ronan, MT. Thomas graduated from Two Eagle River School.
Thomas loved spending time with his children and family. He was a lifelong woodsman that loved being outdoors and enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father: Francis "Fuss" McDonald Jr., grandparents: Julia Hernondez & Francis McDonald Sr. and Ralph & Lois Ovitt.
He is survived by his children: Andy McDonald (Chris) and Sandra McDonald. His mother: Sandra Ovitt, siblings: Jeremy McDonald (Heather,) Jason McDonald (Sheila,) Troy McDonald, Michael Michel, Tricia McDonald (Will) and Coreleah Barnaby (Jamey,) and numerous Aunties, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.
Thomas's first grandchild is expected October 2023.
Services to be held at the Long House in
St. Ignatius, MT, with a Wake stating June 6, 2023, Rosary June 7, 2023 at 8 p.m., and Funeral June 8, 2023 at 3 p.m.
