Tom and I were classmates and good friends all through grade school at
Our Lady of Loretto in Redford, which was "the boondocks" back in the Fifties and Sixties. I think there were about eight of us from OLL that went on to CC for high school.
We always seemed to sit near each other in classes at CC and would joke around and whisper to each other during class freshman year, until one of our teachers (maybe Fr. Harrison?) caught us. We sure learned to stop doing that!
Tom was a great guy and certainly served and sacrificed much for our country.
No more pain and suffering, but peace and rest, for a new angel in heaven.
