Thomas Meehan

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss of a talented man. I loved his play Annie as a little girl, I remember seeing it on Broadway. It's still my favorite to this day. May you find comfort and help in God during this time of mourning.

Our deepest sympathy to Carolyn and family for the loss of Tom. I grew up with Tom as children. His Uncle and Aunt, my parents Frank and Mary Meehan loved him very much and was very proud of all of his accomplishments. Our love and prayers are with you.

My condolences to the Meehan family. I met Tom with my two cousins and my daughter when he very graciously took us to the play Annie. We had lunch and then went to the matinee. Toms grandfather and my grandmother were brother and sister making us second cousins. He had a great talent and will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

A great writer. A great intelligence. A great neighbor. A wonderful wit and the most gentle soul. Carolyn has lost a great mate and we send our support and love to the family.

Meehan was such a talent. Annie is such a great masterpiece. It so is inspiring. Very sad news. Many prayers go out to his family and may God give comfort to them.

No one was more generous in spirit, more giving of encouragement and inspiration than Tom. If there is really a Heaven, Tom will be working the doors, opening them for those who are not quite sure enough of themselves.

I met Mr Meehan at the closing cast party for the original production of Annie. Jan 2, 1983 He was very nice. and signed a couple annie programs i had.
