Thomas Morganosky

Thomas Morganosky, 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Monarch Meadows Personal Care Home in Uniontown.
Born on July 1, 1942, in Uniontown, he was the son of the late Helen Kvak Morganosky and Paul Morganosky, and step-son of Jim Fazenbaker. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Morganosky
Tom was a proud 1960 graduate of Uniontown High School, where he was a standout member of the Uniontown Raiders Basketball Team. His love for the game never wavered, as he continued to play well into his fifties in the over-thirty-five league. Known affectionately as the "Chip-Man", Tom worked for over thirty years at Frito-Lay, where he made great friendships and made an unforgettable mark with his kind nature and infectious smile. He cherished working alongside his buddies and his genuine love for people shone through in every interaction.
Tom was a man of exceptional warmth and generosity, with a heart as big as his spirit. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his unwavering ability to bring joy to those around him.
Tom is survived by his children, Tamara (James) Albani and Patrick (Michelle) Morganosky; step-children, Jamie Jose (Uni) Salgado, and Bradley (Kathleen) Jose; grandchildren, Jadah Jose, Ashley (Chris) Malenich, and Olivia Morganosky; great-grandchildren, Jameson Malenich and Agnes Rose Malenich; his dear sisters, Donna Morganosky McRae and Gloria Hostetler; along with a host of special nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Monday, February 10, 2026 from 4 until 6 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Tom's life at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Ed Loukota officiating. Interment is private.
