Thomas Morocco Obituary

Thomas D. Morocco, 82, of Erie, passed away Friday October 10, 2025. He was born in Somerset, PA on July 28, 1943 a son of the late Victor Morocco and Annabelle Brown Morocco Wood.
Tom graduated from Somerset Area High School in 1961 and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as an engineer at General Cable in New Jersey and Verizon in Erie. He was a member of the PNA, Pulaski, and Star Clubs and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Todd A. Morocco.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ickiewicz Morocco; his son, Timothy D. Morocco (Donna) of Lutz, FL; three grandchildren, Craig Morocco (Nikol), Samantha Morocco (Nicholas), and Chadd Morocco; one great granddaughter, Savannah; one sister, Sandra Kissinger (Garvin) of Elizabethtown, PA; the Ickiewicz, Rzomp, Hordusky, and Feldman families; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom's family would like to sincerely thank the entire Lecom Hospice Team, VNA, and the doctors at Lecom for their compassion and caring for Tom during his final days.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday October 17th from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 1 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
