Thomas J. O'Toole Jr.

Thomas Joseph O'Toole, Jr., age 83 of Woodstock, MD, passed away at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia on November 12, 2025.

Born January 2, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Thomas J. O'Toole and Betty Pangle O'Toole.

Tom was President and Owner of Semper Financial, Inc.

Survivor left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sandra (Sandy) Lively O'Toole of 60 years.

Tom was a member of Saint James United Methodist Church in Marriottsville, MD. He served on various committees. Tom belonged to the VFW and American Legion.

Tom enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels, fellowship with his Men's Bible Group, and fellowship with his MArine Corps buddies.

Tom served in the United States Marine Corps from 1960-1966. He fought in the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, National Defense Medal, and Sharp Shooter Marksmanship Rifle Badge.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Private interment will be held later at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, WV.
