Tom and I flew many hours together as a crew .He was The Epitome of a professional pilot. Tom brought this professionalism and gentlemanly nature to every one he met.

He was mentor to me throughout my aviation career and I greatly appreciate the wisdom and guidance I received to make me a better aviator.

I know you and Sandy are once again together!

My Condolences to the family,

Troy

Tom was a friend and an admired gliding enthusiast whose influence on me goes back to my first days of learning to fly a glider. His willingness to share his flying wisdom and experience was a great blessing to me and many others.

Beyond that, his enthusiasm for life in general and his "stay active" approach to life in his later years continue to be an inspiration to me.

Tom was a true friend to me and I will miss him. I have prayed that I will see Tom in heaven.

Tom was a pilots pilot. I never saw him do anything as a pilot that did not demonstrate safety first and his ability to lead by example. I flew with Tom several times in a glider and I observed him during many hours of towing. He was gifted by God to fly airplanes.

If Tom said anything about airplanes.......you were wise to listen UP and take it to the bank. It was always good advice. He provided countless hours of safe passage to many and burned his passion into many others.
