Thomas Victor Parent

Thomas Victor Parent, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the age of 83. He was born on Monday, January 24, 1938, in Natalbany, Louisiana. Thomas is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joann Santangelo Parent; children, Guy Parent and his wife Sarah, Bart Parent and Brett Parent; grandchildren, Nicole, Guy Jr., Candace, Rocky, Jamie, Brittley, Kenya and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Ava, Braeden, Wyatt, Lincoln, James, Kade, Jackson and Garrison; siblings, Charlotte Bowlin, Bobby Parent, June Overmyer, Paul Parent, Dickie Parent and Sene Bordelon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lizzie Parent; and siblings, Mickey Story, Katherene Metz, Harry Parent Jr., and Jody Parent. Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, La. 70466. A Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466 on Saturday at 11:00 am, with officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
