Thomas Paterson Obituary
Lorain- Thomas F. Paterson, 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in Lorain, Ohio.
He was born on June 15, 1956, in Lorain, to Thomas J. and Theresa ( nee Zink ) Paterson. He graduated from Lorain Catholic High School Class of 1974. Thomas was a long-time and active member of Laborers' Union Local 758 in Lorain. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and the Knights of Columbus. Thomas also belonged to the Elks B.P.O.E. #1301. He was an avid Cleveland sports and Notre Dame fan. Thomas enjoyed gardening and cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Smith, Charlene ( Michael ) Repko, Cheryl ( Richard ) Robinson, and James Paterson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scalan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440 ) 244-1961, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 09:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 309 W. 7th St., Lorain, OH 44052, Fr. Daniel O. Divis officiating.
