Robert Leaders Robert Leaders, age 68, passed away August 21, 2022. He was born May 7, 1954, to Wayne and Wanda (Volkers) Leaders in Council Bluffs, IA. Robert graduated from Underwood High School with the class of 1972. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Leaders; grandson, Caleb Robert Davis; brother-in-law, Terry Lippold. Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol Leaders; daughter, Heather Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Joel (Christina) Leaders; siblings, Kathy (Wayne) Fober, Shirley (Peter) Smith, Dean (Vicki) Leaders, Steve (Marge) Leaders; grandchildren, Calvin Davis, Clayton Davis, Carter Davis, Landon Leaders, Parker Leaders, Sawyer Leaders, and Hayden Leaders; siblings-in-law, Connie (Terry) Pieken, Patty Lippold, Janette Lippold, and Cindy Lippold; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday August 28, 2022, at the UMBA Hall in Underwood, Iowa. There will be a celebration of life with food and fellowship following the 4 p.m. service. In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials towards scholarships in his honor, such as the Caleb Robert Davis Memorial Fund.
