Thomas J. Powers, 57, of Marcus Hook, passed away Friday, July 11th at Riddle Hospital.
Beloved son of John Pope Sr. (Fran) and and the late Pat Patterson Powers (Daniel), he was raised in Sharon Hill and attended Academy Park High School and All State Career School.
A lifelong truck driver, he spent many years delivering for the Philadelphia Inquirer and was recently driving for J.B. Hunt. He was a volunteer firefighter across Delaware County for a number of years, and in his free time he enjoyed the outdoors, his dogs, and being a handyman.
He is survived by partner Brenda Adams, sons William Powers (Sarah) and Mark Powers, his father John Sr. and brother John Pope Jr. (Lily); two grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Pat, stepdaughter Chrissy Adams, and ex-wife Katherine Powers.
