Bridgeport ~ Thomas Charles Robinson, 82, of Bridgeport, Texas went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 18, 2024.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with burial at Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Gary Dimmit will officiate. Pallbearers include Jason Harvick, Doug Caldwell, Doug Bowyer, James Pollard, Tim Linares, and Justin Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers include Jack McAsey, Gary Green, Clayton Green, Kermit Stephens, Roger Hodges, Billy Morrow and Larry Clements.
Thomas was born February 10, 1942 to Thomas Neulon and Ruby Margaret (Ragsdale) Robinson in Levelland, Texas. He was united in marriage May 25, 1962 to Ethel Allene Fant in Miles, Texas. Thomas is the retired owner of Tom's Refrigeration. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 61 years, Ethel Allene Robinson; and a son, Thomas Marvin Robinson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Denda Caldwell and husband Doug of Chico, Brenda Robinson of Decatur, and Dena Harvick and husband Jason of Bridgeport; 1 daughter-in-law, Michelle Robinson of Altus, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Caldwell, Britney Caldwell, Tiffany Pollard, James Pollard, Heather Linares, and Justin Robinson; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margaret Stockton, Jayne Farrell, and Linda Kennedy; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
