He was born to Frederick Rose and Siegried "Joanne" Mattocks in Augsburg, Germany on May 20, 1971.
Thomas loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed helping other people in need. He also loved to eat good food. Thomas was self-employed and performed various environmental services.
Thomas was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sharon Rose; his mother, Siegried Joanne Mattocks; and a sister, Rena Miller.
He is survived by his father, Frederick Rose; sisters, Patricia Scoggins, Kathy Labarge (Fred), Rebecca Heath (Josh), and Melissa Insalaco; two sons, James Rose (Delaney) and Thomas Rose II; grandchildren, Paige, Phoebee, and Darryl Rose; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on April 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the J. M. Ford Funeral Chapel, Pastor James C. Kendrick Sr. officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park will follow. Visitation will take place at the funeral home the evening prior, on March 31, from 6:00-8:00 PM.
