THOMAS SARANTOS age 66, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home; beloved son of the late Georgia (nee Mersinas) and Sarantos A. “Sam”; loving brother of Ellen Reech (husband Jeff) and Steven (wife Marjorie); devoted uncle of Benjamin and Eric Sarantos; survived by his aunt Katherine (husband Steven) Carlton; cherished friend and companion of Elizabeth “Beth” Lieblich.
Tom was born on October 12, 1958, in Cleveland and spent a few of his younger years in Garfield Heights before moving with his family to Munson Township in 1965. He graduated from Chardon High School in 1977 and went on to work for himself as a talented contractor with expertise hanging intricate wallcovering. Tom enjoyed spending holidays with family and will be remembered as a hard-worker, trustworthy, and talented. Tom will be missed by those that cared for him.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for Graveside Services, officiated by Fr. Stephen Callos, on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery, 13480 Auburn Road, Munson (at the corner of Auburn and Butternut Roads).
