Tom was born March 10, 1945 in Rochester, MN to Paul Sr. Schultz and Delores (Pries) Schultz.
He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1964. Tom was drafted into the Army in 1965 he was on active duty until 1967. He then worked at Frenchs Produce for 21 years, he then worked at Mayo Clinic as a custodian. Tom retired from the Clinic after 22 years in 2010. He enjoyed fishing with friends and spending time with family.
Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years; 3 children Joe Schultz of Rochester, Brenda Schultz of Winona, and Ann (Brian) Klindworth of Chatfield; 2 brothers Dave (Mary) Schultz and Bill Schultz; 7 grandchildren Brandon, Rose (Kyle), Tony (Jess), Julian Jr (Heather), Jennifer (Jere), Thomas (Katie), Hunter (Lexi); and 13 great grandchildren Isaiah, Micah, Trenton, Kaelynn, Graycen, McKinley, Carter, Daniel, Reed, Scarlett, Jaxson, Adelaide, Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Paul Jr.; sister Cheryl; and granddaughter Jessica.
A celebration of life will be from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Rochester Cremation Services, 1605 Civic Center Drive NW, Rochester with a service at 12pm. Lunch will be served after the service.
