Tom was my cousin, I remember when we were young and he got his drum set. He practiced and practiced the song "Wipe Out" over and over till he got it, and he did. I thought for sure he was the next Ringo. Later in life we did a lot of river trips on the Delaware. He will be missed.

My brother (Rodger Smith)and I grew up together with Tom in Hackettstown N.J. We had a lot of fun as kids camping in the backyard, playing kickball on Baldwin street, slay riding and just hanging out. My family moved to Florida in 1969 but we stayed in touch and Tom came to Florida a few times to visit and we always had a good time. So sorry to hear he passed away. He will be missed.
