Linda, we're so dissapointed we missed the service, we've been out of town a lot and just found out. I can't begin to express my sadness, Tom without a doubt was one of the most generous gentleman I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was no stranger to anyone;his zest for life was contagious to all.

I was young and wandering and Tom saw something in me that I couldn't see. He wasn't just a boss, he was a friend He will always have a special place in my heart.

His love and light will shine forever..

It is still so hard to believe a man like him is gone. Bigger than life was he. His smile and generous heart, a guiding light for all to see. I so admire the love you two shared. I had some of the best summers of my life working as a lifeguard for Tom Shell at Little Island Park in Sandbridge. He was a very kind and inspirational person. I know he is dancing the Carolina Shag to his favorite beach music in Heaven. Peace be with all of you in this difficult time; I am happy to have known him. ❤
