Not sure what to say?

Writing this post in a bit of shock. I was a teammate of his on the baseball team at Keene State and we spent a lot of time together in those years. I have just moved back east, after having been in CA the last 23 years - only communicating with him sporadically, and wanted to reconnect in a more meaningful way now that I am back east, but then came across this.

Souc, as we and many called him, was one of the nicest and sweetest guys I ever met. I can sit back now and visualize him on the baseball field at KSU over 30 years ago. I can see his lefty swing in my mind and the joy he had when playing. In the two years we were together at KSU we were great friends and I have too many memories and crazy times to share in this post, but I can truly say that my time with him in those years are some of my fondest memories and best times of my life.

My condolences to his family. I'm so sorry.

TO Sandra and Tom Soucy family, so sorry to hear of your loss. I meet Tom a few times at Frye Island, one particular warm summer night, on his brother Rich's porch, we talked into the late night, of sports, and life, growing up in New Hampshire, Tom was so knowledgeable of sports, and an outstanding player. he knew many kids that I also knew, he was comfortable to be around, and sincere person, caring and alert to his friends feelings, making him special as a person, easy to like, I can understand his purpose of helping people, he cared about. my deepest sympathy.

George and Sandy Mackey, also from Brian, Andrew, Patrick and Dannielle, and our dog Bailey, friend of Maggie.

Sandra and all of Tom's family,

I was fortunate to call Tom family for the last 18 years. I sincerely don't think I have ever known a more thoughtful, giving, kind, helpful, beautiful soul. All my time with Tom, whether it was at the beach house in Rye, townhouse in Boston, visits on Frye or at his home...he was always so genuine in how he did everything. I've read many others who wrote that Tom always cared more about taking care of friends and family than himself, and that is absolutely true. He had a giving heart and seeing others happy, is what made him happy. He was our best man, and I can still remember his toast. He made jokes about so many teachers present and how he wondered how he and Rich could be part of that group. But Tom was very smart and wise, and he lived life making decisions that allowed him to give his family a beautiful life. I can't imagine this world without Tom. My heart is broken for him thinking of him not being with his family and able to see his boys grow. And my heart aches for all of us that will miss him so much. But I pray that soon we will all find peace in memories that make us smile. My love to all my Soucy family <3

Sandra, James and Jonathan and all family,

My deepest sympathy as you move forward without Tom. I only briefly knew him, but loved his laughter and positive spirit. We were still chatting and chuckling via Messenger just a short time ago. I so admired his love and devotion to all of you, and thoroughly enjoyed sharing our respective stories of NH and our lives there. Tom was such a special man and will be missed by all of us. Prayers to all of you and wishes for peace.

Love,
Jacqui Feid
