Thomas Stanley, age 91, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Thursday evening, November 20, 2025 at Crestwood Ridge Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
He was born May 14, 1934 in Abingdon, Virginia, son of the late Thomas Q. and Beatrice Cora (Latham) Stanley.
Thomas lived a simple life, where he enjoyed to hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his daughter, Mary (Jim Miller) Berry of Hillsboro; grandson, Rob (Lisa) Jordan of Hillsboro; 5 great-grandchildren: Brendon (fiancée Chloe) Ormes, Casey Jordan, Taylor (fiancée Sallie) Lucas, Taylor Jordan (Kayden), and Gaven Lucas; great-great-grandson, Parker Ormes; sister, Dorothy Rhoades of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Stanley who passed on November 9, 1989; 4 brothers; and 6 sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
