My entire family is feeling the loss of Tom. A wonderful husband to my niece Sam and father to Tommy and Codie. As Samantha´s family we will try to help her and children through this terrible time. It takes a village.

Dear Lou, Mary and Family,
It is with many tears and heavy hearts we offer our condolences. Remembering Tommy as a young boy brings us smiles. He was handsome, polite, athletic, had a great BIG SMILE and a good personality!! Our family will always remember Tommy "T". Love to you, Nick and Monica Carl

Never a kinder and more genuine smile than one that you would receive from Tom. His passion and dedication to life at its fullest has clearly been demonstrated to patients, coworkers, friends, family, and loved ones. It goes without saying that Tom was hands down one of my favorite people at Biogen and my heart is insanely heavy with this loss.

I was one of Tom´s care givers and in the short time I knew him I instantly knew that this man was one of a kind . Such a unique, amazing, heartwarming spirit and never went without a thank you even when least expected. Always smiling (which could light up a room) and remained positive! He affected my life in a positive way and Gave me a reassurance to treat others the way you´d like to be treated. His family are just as amazing and remain in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks Tom.

Although I love all my husband's friends, Tom took topped the list. He was always so kind and engaging. The last time he visited Patrick and I in Longmeadow, he stepped right in, dropped his bag, gave the biggest hugs and within minutes had both Patrick and I laughing. He had one of the best senses of humor, period. He also made sure Griff (our son, his Godson) got an equal amount of attention... laying down on the floor to play legos with him. I feel lucky to have had met him and had him in our lives. Looking forward to watching his legacy, Codie & Tommy, grow up and tell them all about their incredible Dad (... and Mom).
