Thomas Sheldon Taylor

I took over Tom's chemistry classroom when he retired. I will never forget how kind and helpful he was as I was starting out.

Dear Taylor Family,

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Taylor. I have so many fond memories of him as he was such a dear friend to our family. Please know that his memory will live on in my heart.

Mr. Taylor was one of my favorite teachers at Mt.Lebanon. I really wanted to work hard in his class. He was kind, intelligent and inspiring. (I even babysat his children once as part of the "future teachers club" service project.) Class of '61!

I enjoyed working with Tom at Mt Lebanon back in the 70's and then seeing him at wrestling matches after that. He was a good man. May he rest in peace.
