Thomas Taylor Obituary
He was born in Ephrata to the late Isaac W. and Bella (Grube) Taylor and was the husband of Jean M (Lebo) Taylor, with whom he shared 71 years of marriage.
He was a member of Lititz Church of the Brethren. Prior to his retirement in 1990, Thomas worked for D and E Telephone Company. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and be outdoors, including beach trips and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. Thomas was a member of several community organizations, including the former Cloistertown Road and Gun Club, Ephrata Masonic Lodge, No. 665, and the Schoeneck Area Lions Club. In his free time, he traveled in Europe, Africa, Israel, and the United States.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by two daughters, Lauren T., wife of Thomas G. Smith of Ephrata and Shelley Taylor of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard C. Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 12 PM, at the Chapel at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Thomas's memory to the Brethren Village Good Samaritan Fund, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
