His desire to help others through times of crisis was a blessing. May his family know that we appreciated all his efforts and time. We will remember him always.

I first met Tom at a performance of the Symphony of the Hills. As a fellow clarinetist, I spoke with him after the concert and expressed my admiration for his skill level. Not long afterward, Larry Mentzer, principal clarinetist in the San Antonio Symphony, asked both Tom and me to join him in the formation oo a clarinet quintet. That group stayed together for many years, meeting weekly. We formed a lasting friendship sharing a love of music. Almost 20 years later, age finally caught up with us, and we were forced to dissolve the group. In addition to our musical ties, Tom provided valuable legal services to my various family members regarding wills, trusts and matters relating to oil interests in New Mexico properties. Tom was an inspiration to us all and will be sorely missed.
