With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Thomas Willard Teske of Glenwood, MN and Mesa, AZ, passed away on Monday, October 20th 2025 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN at the age of 78.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 26 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson, MN. Visitation will continue one hour prior (12:30-1:30) to the funeral services at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, MN on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 1:30 PM. After the funeral, interment will take place at the Benson City Cemetery in Benson, MN followed by light meal at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church.

Thomas Willard Teske was born January 12, 1947. He was the eldest son of Willard and Ruth (Block) Teske. He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton, MN. Thomas graduated from Appleton High School in 1965. On February 5, 1966, Thomas married Judy Olson at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, MN. He enlisted in the Air Force on March 4th, 1966, and served until March 3rd, 1972. Thomas and Judy were stationed in Amarillo, TX and Okinawa, Japan. He was a dedicated owner-operator truck driver and received an award for a million miles with no accidents. After the service, Tom and Judy lived in Detroit, MI, Coon Rapids, MN, Blaine, MN and enjoyed summers at Green Valley Resort in Glenwood, MN. They were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, MN. He retired in 2009. During retirement, Tom and Judy continued to winter in Mesa, AZ and spend summers in Glenwood, MN.
His proudest accomplishment was the two children (Ben and Jen) he raised with Judy and his greatest source of joy was spending time with his three grandchildren living in Cambridge, MN (Autumn) and South Carolina (Parker and Grayson previously of Blaine, MN).
He is survived by his wife Judy; children: Ben (April) of Cambridge, MN and Jennifer of Marana, AZ; grandchildren: Parker, Grayson and Autumn. Brothers-in-law, Neil Olson (Carol), Duane Olson (Cindy), Sisters-in-law, Shirley Olson (DuWayne), Adele Schmidt (Tom), and Verna Teske and several nieces (Marie, Sherri, Sheila, Sara, Jessica), nephews (Nathan, Nick, Joe, Michael, Dennis), extended family and many friends at Green Valley Resort in Glenwood, MN and on 79th street at Valle Del Oro in Mesa, AZ.
Thomas is reunited with his parents, Willard and Ruth Teske; brother, Richard Teske; brother-in-law, Steve Olson, sister-in-law; Diane Jenson (Harlan); niece, Erin Olson; cousin, Gary Teske and other family.
