Thomas Thomas Obituary
Tom proudly attended Lincoln High School until the merge his senior year where he graduated with the class of 1977 from Timken High School. Tom devoted over 29 years to his work as a truck driver. Those who knew him will remember his enthusiasm for sports, whether it was rooting for his beloved Browns, enjoying NASCAR races, or supporting the Cleveland baseball team. He enjoyed telling stories of his kids' accomplishments to anyone who would listen. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Jan Thomas; and loyal canine companion, Wrigley.
Tom is survived by his cherished wife, Larisa, with whom he shared 38 wonderful years; children, Rebecca Thomas and Christopher (Dr. Alyssa Lange) Thomas; brothers, Tim, Todd (Jodi), and Tyrone Thomas; brother-in-law, John (Kim) Kolesar; nieces, Staci (Josh Shahan) Thomas, Kara (Adam) Kutz; nephew, Brent Kolesar; and great niece, Aubree Shahan.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, Ohio 4710). Following the visitation, we will gather for a funeral service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Stark County Humane Society. Our racin' friend Tom we very much miss this summer. I'm a race driver/owner from Canada and we use to chat often w Tom about Oswego, Nascar, and racin' in general...A small group of us grabbed a breakfast in Oswego a few summers ago at Classic Weekend and had a bunch of laughs and great racin' convo! As the supermodifieds race this weekend at Berlin, there is a LM driver named Tom Thomas, and it reminds us how much we miss him. My thoughts go out to his family who he spoke so HIGHLY of to us...we had thought maybe one day Dave and I would meet them and swap more stories... RIP Tom, we miss ya. Monty Farrell, @ModRacer16

Thomas was part of a really tight crew on social media. We loved discussing music & he loved giving us updates on the road. So shocked by the news. He was always so positive & supportive. My love goes out to his family. TT love you mate xxx

I only knew Tom through social media where a group of us chatted nonsense regularly. He was an enthusiastic participant in any silliness and was always up for a laugh. He also planned & ran occasional music & book challenges that a number of us enjoyed. I may not have shared his taste in music or literature but the challenges were fun and even thought-provoking at times. Whenever he mentioned his family it was obvious how much he loved you all. He also seemed devastated by the recent loss of Wrigley. I´ve let people from the Twitter/X group know what has happened and word is spreading there and on other social media platforms where Tom had a presence. Everyone is so shocked and deeply saddened that he didn´t get the long retirement he deserved. I´m posting this because I wanted you to know that he was appreciated and will be missed by his social media chums. Sending my sympathy to all the family at this difficult time. Rest well TT.
