Thomas Tillman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Nicholas Tillman, born on June 26, 1969. He left us on June 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Thomas was the cherished son of Thomas Lawrence Tillman and the late Rose Mary Geiger and is survived by his loving siblings: Terri (Bob) Bandenburg, Timothy (Lamara) Tillman, and Tiffany (Ben) Wise.
A proud alumnus of Elder High School, Thomas excelled as a member of the cross-country team, showcasing not only his athletic prowess but also his remarkable intellect. His career as a financial advisor at Respect the Vet reflected his passion for helping others, particularly those who served our country.
Thomas was often hailed as the "fun uncle," a title he wore with pride. He thoroughly enjoyed spoiling his nephews Ben (Samantha) Goldschmidt, Joe (Allison) Bandenburg, Jack Bandenburg, Adam Bandenburg, and Simon Bandenburg, and he adored his great-niece and great-nephews. His nurturing spirit and heartfelt love will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his immediate family, Thomas is survived by several loving relatives, including his beloved aunts, Dottie Kennedy and Dr. Elaine Tillman. Thomas found joy in simple pleasures, from fishing at his favorite spots and golfing with friends to running on quiet mornings-these cherished activities reflected his zest for life.
Visitation will be held on June 27, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Lawrenceburg, from 1:00 pm until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come together in a celebration of Thomas's life, honoring the many ways he touched and inspired those around him.
As we say goodbye to Thomas, we hold tightly to the love he brought into our lives. May his spirit remain with us, guiding and inspiring us as we strive to embody the kindness and love he shared so generously.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The YES Home, a safe and supportive haven for children in need of a home. Representatives from the funeral home will be available to accept donations on behalf of the organization.
