Thomas Henry "Tom" Timmermann

I want to send my sincere condolences to Tom's family. Tom and I were very close during our high school and college days. There are many good memories of our playing baseball together, he a pitcher and I a catcher. It was wonderful and special when both of us signed baseball contracts to play ball with the Detroit Tiger organization. I was very proud, happy and shared Tom's success to make it to the majors. After 3 years in the minors, I chose another career. Tom stuck with his goal and his dream to play in the majors. He was hard working and dedicated in all he did. Tom was a great friend and buddy. He will be missed and remembered.

I was in high school when you pitched for the Tigers. Thank you for the memories.
