Thomas A. Tinius, 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife on Friday, May 9, 2025. Tom was a devoted husband and father. He was the peacekeeper and the wisdom of his family. He loved antique cars, riding motorcycles, and talking politics.
Born on October 11, 1947 in New Albany, Indiana, Tom was the son of William F. and Joyce L. Tinius. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daryl Coomer; and his brother, Tim Tinius.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Edna Tinius; children, Jeff Hawkins (Messina), Lonnie Hawkins, Donna Mitchell, and Robbie Coomer (Shannon); sister, Tama Fry (James); 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Hurst Cemetery in Corydon, Indiana.
