Leetonia - Saturday, August 2, 2025, with broken hearts, we said goodbye to Thomas “Tom” Andrew Leskosky. Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Tom was born January 11, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents Miriam Budesky and Vince Leslie. He graduated from Boardman High School and MCCTC in 1974. Tom was very outgoing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was very knowledgeable about sports and hunting, and he loved playing in local golf leagues. He also enjoyed attending local sporting events, especially for his beloved Crestview Rebels. Tom loved coaching his boys in baseball. He had a nickname for each player and treated all the boys like his own. He also enjoyed going on hunting trips out west. His favorite place by far was Montana.
A carpenter by trade, he was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #171. He worked for Coates Construction for many years and completed a lot of side jobs for people in the community.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Miriam Kohn, stepfather, Mike Kohn, father, Vince Leslie, and two brothers, Mike and Kenny Leskosky.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Fitch Leskosky; sons, Joe (Loren) Leskosky and Kyle (Valerie) Leskosky; and the joy of his life, his grandson, Liam Leskosky, and Liam’s little brother set to arrive in November; and a brother, Vince Leskosky. In addition, he leaves behind his constant sidekick, his dog Bo (Bobo).
His family would like to thank SouthernCare Hospice Services for the loving and compassionate care he received.
He will be greatly missed. Until we see you again. God Bless. We love you.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
