THOMAS MICHAEL MEGLIOLA
Thomas "Tom" Megliola, age 61, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on February 7, 2025. Born on November 9, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tom was the son of Mike and Susan Megliola. His early years were spent in Massachusetts before his family relocated to Monroe, Michigan, in 1970. He attended high school there before settling in the Lansing area for much of his adult life. For the past twelve years, he made his home in Flint.
Tom held numerous leadership and administrative roles throughout his career. Most recently, he dedicated over eleven years to Accu-Shape Die Cutting in Flint, where he formed close bonds with his coworkers and was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
Captivated by sports from an early age, his father often took him to University of Michigan football games as well as Detroit Lions and Red Wings games. Whether attending in person or watching from home, he was always an enthusiastic and spirited fan. Music was another of Tom's great loves-particularly classic and hard rock. He attended hundreds of concerts over the years and cherished the energy of live performances.
Tom will be remembered for his quick wit, fearless spirit, sense of humor, and occasional practical joke. He had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those he cared about.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Megliola of Connecticut; sister, AnneMarie Megliola of Florida; sons, Dylan and Mikey Megliola of Grand Ledge; and his devoted partner, Gretchen Pieper of Flint. He is also survived by his second family-John, Andrea, Max, and Luca Jozwiak of Grand Ledge. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Megliola, and his daughter, Kelsey Megliola.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, no public service will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory may contribute to his sons, Dylan and Mikey Megliola.
