Thomas W. Trudgeon, of
Richboro, PA, died peacefully on June 2, 2025, at his home with his family. Tom turned 80 on June 1.
He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Constance "Connie" Burt Trudgeon. Born in 1945 at Bryn Mawr Hospital, he was the son of Leslie Ray and Dorothy Trimble Trudgeon, brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Joan Trudgeon, Dick and Ellie Trudgeon, Phil Trudgeon, Sandy and Ron Drager, and Dottie and Bill Potter.
In addition to his beloved Connie, he is survived by his two sons, Thomas Trudgeon II and Todd Trudgeon, and daughter-in-law Marlo. He is the proud grandfather of Alex Menendez, Davis Menendez, and Ryan Trudgeon.
Tom attended Haverford High School, earning his GED and honorary diploma. He joined the United States Air Force in 1962 and was proud to share his adventures as a radar specialist in Biloxi, MS, San Bernardino, CA, and Newfoundland, Canada.
After being honorably discharged, Tom worked and excelled as a sales representative for AM and Eastman Kodak, among others. A vital and respected team member of any sales force, he was known for his infectious smile and for sharing a good story. He was admired by clients and colleagues, some of whom became lifelong friends.
Tom was most dedicated to his wife Connie. They loved to dance, laugh, and spend time together. They created a soulful and lovable group of friends who would have the world laughing if their stories got out. Tom was a loving, present, and dependable father. He attended countless baseball games, hockey matches, swim meets, and plays. He was active in Northampton baseball, basketball, and the Indian Guides. He looked forward to spending time with his family and friends in Sea Isle City, NJ, and Ocean City, MD. He enjoyed pinochle, the sound of the surf, body-surfing, and Cabernet.
He was a great fan of Penn State Football, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Phillies, and the Eagles. Golf became a passion, and every Wednesday, Tom and his buddies played nine holes rain or shine. Afterward, his team would head to Giuseppe's in Richboro for dinner and adult beverages.
Sadly, he will be missed for his wit, firm handshake, infectious, mischievous smile, and for always being a gentleman.
Tom's family will receive condolences on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until his Funeral Services at 11:30 a.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.
