Thomas John Van Blarcom

Thomas John Van Blarcom, 30, died Sunday, December 10, 2023. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, at Myers & Smith Chapel.
Thomas was born on September 12, 1993, in Petropolis, Brazil, to Esther and Wayne Van Blarcom.
Thomas graduated from Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, Texas. He immediately joined the U.S. Army and served as a medic in the Third Infantry Division. After his military service, he lived in Andrews with his brother Dustin and worked with his brother David in residential construction. He loved art, especially drawing caricatures of friends and family. He loved kids and was the best big brother and uncle.
Thomas is survived by his parents: Wayne and Esther Van Blarcom; his siblings: Karea Leah Van Blarcom (and sons Arthur Knight Van Blarcom and Jessin Wynn Van Blarcom), Adria Joy Van Blarcom (and Vanessa), Angela Peace (and Donnie) Rollins, Sarah Irene Van Blarcom (and son Derrick Alexander Van Blarcom), Christina Maria Van Blarcom, Tammy Lynn (and Sam) Peck (and children Kyla Charmaine Peck, Shani Ayleen Peck, Leonardo Drake Antony Peck), Julia Michelle Van Blarcom (and daughter Natalia Robyn Abraham), Abner Renaud, Daniella Claire Mestyanek (and Tom) Young (and daughter, Lorelei Jane Young), Cherith Malika (and Ben) Kuhn (and sons Michael Connor Kuhn and Benjamin Cooper Kuhn), David Wayne (and Ashly) Van Blarcom (and children, Delilah Rose Van Blarcom and David Wayne Van Blarcom, Jr.), Dustin Allan Van Blarcom, Steven Wyatt Van Blarcom, Carisa Elaine Van Blarcom, and Jacqueline Mae Van Blarcom; his nephew: Cael Renaud; his aunts and uncles: Linda Van Blarcom, Mary Howard (and daughter Lila Penelope Howard), Stephanie Lang, Catherine Rose Lynch, John Mestyanek (and son Gavin), Ed Mestyanek (and son Andrew); Nina Claunch (and sons Kevin, Isaac, and Cameron); Joseph Johnston; Daniel (and Sherri) Johnston (and son Liam); and his maternal grandparents: Thomas John Mestyanek McNally (and Maureen) and Peggy Kellough.
Thomas was preceded in death by two brothers: Andrew Johnathan Van Blarcom and Joao Gabriel Renaud.
