Thomas Francis Walker

When the weather turned warm, Tom would appear in his backyard and I in mine. We would share stories of whatever great accomplishments we had performed that week (often short conversations). One day Tom asked if it would be OK he had some CDs hung from his gutters to drive away destructive birds. I said sure, what could go wrong? However it became quickly clear that when the CDs rotated in the wind, the reflection from them was blinding. Tom, being the sweet neighbor, had them removed.

The days are a bit emptier without him.
