Thomas Wallsmith Obituary
Thomas B. Wallsmith, age 76 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Kobacker House in Columbus. On May 21, 1947, he was born in Chicago, Illinois, to George Wallsmith and Adelia (Edinger) Howard, and in 1969, he married the love of his life, Terri (Imbody).
Thomas proudly served his country as a military policeman with the United States Army. He spent over 30 years as general manager for Del Mar Distributing in Waldo, and he also spent time as a teacher at Tri Rivers Career Center and co-owner of Sir John Barleycorn.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Terri Wallsmith; his son Tom E. (Laura) Wallsmith; his grandchildren Isabella and Garrett Wallsmith; his brother Richard (Sue) Wallsmith; his sister Deborah (Don) Jaggers; and his mother Adelia Howard.
He was preceded in death by his father George Wallsmith.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11 am at Marion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214, or to Chapel Hill House, 3892 Moral Kirkpatrick Rd. W., Morral, OH 43337.
