Tom was the truly great instructor in neurophthalmology during my residency, a truly superb teacher and practical ophthalmologist! A mainstay in the program during a time of turmoil in the faculty! A great loss, a wonderful career!

Rest in peace Dear Professor.

I was a technician at the Yale Eye Center. I did his Goldman visual fields. When a patient had a lot of defects in their goldman visual field he would always say I was in the mood to color. We worked together really well. At Christmas I would give him a tray of cookies that I made. He would eat the cookies and give his wife the xmas dish.

I just heard about the passing of Tom. I worked with him at the Yale Eye Center for 30 years. I always enjoyed his stories. We shared a love of flowers and discussing our gardens. I ran into him at several flower shows. I retired from Yale 4 years ago, and your dad was still working then 2 days a week. Once again I´m truly sorry for your loss
