Thomas Richard "Dick" Warner, 86, passed away suddenly at home on August 16, 2025. He was born on June 29, 1939 in Freeport, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas Owen and Ella Mae (Kinney) Warner.

Dick was man of many talents. He was a coal miner, a farmer, plus owned D & J's Bait and Tackle for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved sitting on the porch and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Lola.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Janett (Boston) Warner; a son, Thomas Harold Warner; brothers, Clyde, Bill, Ruben, and Paul Warner; sisters, Martha Colegrove, Myrtle Clay.

Left to cherish his memory are son, Tony (Michelle) Warner; grandson, who was like a son, caretaker, T.J. Warner; grandchildren, Nichole (Glen) Schnider, Christopher Warner, Trista (Corey) Wehr, Brooke (John) Farnario, Devon Warner; plus 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Teri) Warner.

Calling hours will be on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4pm to 6pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. The Masonic service will be held at 5:45pm and the funeral service will be held at 6pm. Cremation to follow with inurnment on the family farm at a later date.
