Thomas Warner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Werner-Gompf Funeral Services Ltd. on Mar. 5, 2026.
Thomas R. Warner, age 81 of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 18, 1944, in Mansfield to the late Melvin and Lucille (Harick) Warner, and on November 6, 1965, he married the love of his life, Davida (Frank).

Thom held many jobs throughout his lifetime, including positions at Ohio Brass and multiple stores, but his passion lay in the work he did with Richland Newhope Industries for 30 wonderful years. He was a true jack of all trades, and his many talents included cake decorating and growing beautiful flowers of all kinds, as well as hosting gatherings with his wife and family. He was a great man of God, and he often volunteered at his church, Diamond Hill Cathedral.

Above all else, Thom was a devoted husband and a loving father. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Davida Warner; his children Thurston (Susan) Warner, Tabitha (John) Haddox, and Theodore (Sara) Warner; his grandchildren Alec, Kyle, Lauren, Mitchell, Jillian, Natalie, and Xander; his great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Daniel, Isaiah, Amelia, and Lily; and his brother- and sisters-in-law Stanley, Karen, and Beth.

He was preceded in death by his children Thomas Warner and Tonia Warner; his parents Melvin and Lucille Warner; his sister Melena Poth; and his brother-in-law Michael.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Diamond Hill Cathedral, 500 Tingley Ave., Mansfield. He will be buried at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
