Thomas Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Healey Mortuary and Crematory on Dec. 24, 2025.
Beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, Steve Williams passed away on December 12, 2025, peacefully at home. He was born in Tacoma, WA on April 28th, 1954, to Sara & Tom Williams (deceased). Growing up as a military family, they eventually found their way to the peninsula where they were stationed at [former] Fort Ord. Steve enjoyed growing up on the peninsula as he and his brothers had many an adventure playing outside together and eventually graduating from Seaside High School. Then he met his wife and they were married at Lover's Point, Pacific Grove, CA. They were married for 49 years at the time of his passing.

Steve volunteered with Marina Soccer Association, the Marina Volunteer Fire Department, Toys for Tots, & many Mayoral campaigns for several elected Marina Mayors. Steve loved his community and gave back wherever he could. Steve was also an avid 49ers fan and loved to watch them 49ers play!

Steve also loved and enjoyed his family. He would take his grandkids for drives around town, checking out the sights, the Marina beach and getting an afternoon snack. Steve, being the prankster that he was, always had people smiling & laughing. Steve had a great relationship with his children and grandchildren & loved being a Papa above all else. He was always there for his grandkids and loved taking them to school, on little adventures and giving them sage advice. He was always joking around with them and lived for the time he got to spend with them.

Steve is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debbie Williams (Marina), his mother, Sara Williams (Marina), His brother's Dennis Williams (Monterey), Bill Williams (Janesville), his daughter, Chrissy Toev (Marina), his son, Nathan Williams. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Williams, his sister Janet and his brother Kenneth.

He will surely be missed.

We love you to the moon and back.
