KAREN MYERS Obituary
Born on April 15, 1944 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Walter E. and Mildred (Peters) Gordon.
She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Class of 1962.
On June 11, 1966 she wed George Eugene Myers in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Clearfield.
Karen was a homemaker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Clearfield. She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed bowling with the Merchant League Bowling for Batcho Business Machine.
Karen is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly A. (David) Catherman of Clearfield, Kathy D. Myers of Lock Haven, and Kristen R. (Mark) Womer of Philipsburg; four grandchildren, Sarah Leeann Catherman, David Lee Catherman, Nathan Womer, and Kally Wilkenson. She is also survived by one brother, Robert (Annette) Gordon; one niece, Michele; and one nephew, Rob.
In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her husband who died on March 11, 2005.
Friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 10-11 a.m. at which time her funeral service will begin in the funeral home. Pastor Matt Brown will be officiating.
Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery, Bradford Township.
Memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to Clearfield County Cancer Support, Inc., 610 Susquehanna Ave., Curwensville, PA 16833; or Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic, 1380 Shawville Hwy., Woodland, PA 16881.
