Yadkinville – Thomasena Montez Russell, 70, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. She was born August 11, 1954 in Yadkin County to the late David Jerome Russell and Elizabeth Hinson Russell. She is survived by her daughter, Erika (Gregory) Peeples; grandchildren, Gregory Peeples, Jr., Jeremiah Peeples, K’Niyah Peeples; sister, Lori Russell; brothers, Tommy (JoAn) Russell, Blaine Russell Sr.; niece and nephews, David Russell, Jr., Christopher Russell, Sr., Michael Russell Sr., Bianca (Deonte) Mitchell, James Blaine Russell, Jr. Her Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Thomas M. Williams, Jr. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Russell family.
