Tia Harris

Family will receive friends Monday December 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Rd., Columbus, OH 43229.

Tia Frances Harris, age 33, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 25, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 22, 1991, she was the beloved daughter of Clifford Muldrow and Patricia Harris, and a devoted mother to her two beautiful children, Michael (9) and Malia (5).

Tia was known for her strength, kindness, and the way she lit up every room she entered. She had a gentle spirit, a warm heart, and a deep love for her family and friends.

She was educated at East High School, where she proudly played on both the volleyball and softball teams. As a child, she cherished summers spent in Florida with family, where she first learned how to drive. Guided by her caring nature, Tia began a career in the medical field after high school, earning her State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification. She worked for several home health agencies and lovingly cared for family members in their times of need.

Tia worked tirelessly for her patients, building genuine relationships with many of them, until the birth of her first child, Michael. From that moment on, she dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home mother, doing hair on the side until her children entered elementary school.

Though she faced years of health challenges, Tia fought her battles quietly and courageously. Like her father, she rarely complained, always believing that with rest she could push through. No matter the struggle, Tia remained a true fighter. She will be remembered for her compassion, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for those around her. Her strong faith ultimately led her to The Church of Christ of The Apostolic Faith, where she became a proud member.

Tia was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Muldrow; great-grandfather Joe Harris; paternal grandparents Ethel Muldrow and Willie (Carrie) Levins; grandfather Pirate Joe Harris; uncles Morgan Muldrow and Pirate Harris Jr.; and special cousins Andrea Levins and Douglass Mitchell.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Michael and Malia Harris; mother Patricia Harris; grandmother Mary Harris; siblings Timothy Antrum and Timia Harris (twin); bonus siblings Antjuan (Tonette) Mathews, Dartangnan Hill and Chrissy Long; aunts Sylvia Madison and Yolanda Ndiath; uncles Joey Harris, Tony Harris, and Curtis King; a loving host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind special friends Nekeisha Morris and Kadija Allen, as well as her Godmother Freida Heller and her God-family.

Tia's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
