Tia Lynn Johnson Sanchez passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the age of 59 after a lengthy illness. Throughout her life, Tia struggled with addiction but it never dampened her tenacious spirit and love for her family. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Tia was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Nancy Johnson, and her granddaughter Kiley Dearman.
She leaves behind three children to cherish her memory; Shane Dearman and his girlfriend Amanda of Nacogdoches, Texas; Nikki Dearman Groce and husband Chris of Keithville, Louisiana; and Jennifer Dearman and boyfriend Donnie of Center, Texas.
She is also survived by five grandchildren; Riley Holloway, Keegan Dearman, Cayden Groce, Cassidy Groce, and Clovis "Cam" Marshall.
Tia also leaves behind three sisters; Patricia Autin and husband Bruce; Andrea Johnson; and Melanie Barber and husband James. She had five nephews and two nieces.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff of Manfield Nursing Center. Your care and compassion helped Tia live comfortably and happily during the last two years of her life. Thank you will never be enough.
