Tim A. Ecker, 58, a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, passed away on February 20, 2026. Born on October 2, 1967, in Fort Pierce, Tim was a proud hometown man whose life was rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

Tim attended Faith Baptist School, where he began forming the strong values that would guide him throughout his life. At just 16 years old, he started cutting grass to earn extra money. What began as a teenage job grew into a thriving and respected local business, Ecker's Lawn and Tree. Through dedication, integrity, and an unmatched work ethic, Tim built not just a company, but a reputation for excellence and dependability within the community.

On June 2, 1994, Tim married the love of his life, Michelle. Together they built a beautiful life and raised five children, who were the pride and joy of his heart. Tim often said that his kids were his favorite friends to spend time with. Whether fishing at sunrise, hunting in the woods, or enjoying the thrill of racing cars, he cherished every moment spent with his family.

Tim never met a stranger. He was the kind of man who would drop whatever he was doing to help someone in need. Generous to a fault, he truly would give the shirt off his back. His love for God and his family guided every decision he made, and he lived his faith through action, kindness, and service to others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Michelle Ecker of Fort Pierce, FL; his children, Timmy (Ally) Ecker of Yankeetown, FL, Rachael (Zach) Grunfeld of Fort Pierce, FL, Audra Jenkins (Jed) of Fort Pierce, FL, Cheyanne (Chris) Leverock of Fort Pierce, FL, and Chontee Joyner of Ocala, FL; his mother, Annie Ecker of Fort Pierce, FL; his siblings, Robert and Brenda of Fort Pierce, FL; 12 beloved grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ecker.

Tim’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, fierce love for his family, hard work, and a heart always ready to serve others. His presence in the community he loved so deeply will be greatly missed, but the impact he made on his family and friends will live on for generations to come.
