Tim Hal Roberts

With March 21st, being the day of Dad's 'Great Passage', Gloria and Family will spend time reflecting on special shared memories. I remember Captain Roberts, very well. A man of great honor and a good heart.

Capt Roberts was my Naval Science instruction at Mceachern. For 4 years I received guidance from this amazing man as much as a semi-rebellious teen would receive. I have thought of him often and never really got to say thank you. God bless Captain, thank you, I will continue to cherish your lessons. Patrick Marks USMC 1991-1999

I served under Capt. Roberts on my last cruise in May of 1983. I found him to be very fair and quite enjoyable to talk with. Fair winds Skipper . John Whalen DP2 presently Capt. In the Merchant Marines.

I served under many Commanding Officers during my career in the Navy, Capt. Tim Roberts was one of the Finest and it was an honor and privilege to server under him aboard the USS Yosemite AD-19. I wish i had known that he was the NROTC senior instructor at McEachern High School, my daughter Becky was a student there at the same time. I would have enjoyed seeing him again.

Thinking of you a lot lately, Dad. I know Mom is too... as we get set to celebrate the 58 Years you shared. Lots of people you touched miss you, and love you. I know you are still a beautiful part of 'life' as we experience it here on earth. I find reminders of that everywhere, every day ~

Tim was a wonderful man and grandfather. I was truly blessed to have him as my Father-In-Law. His love for his family & friends was felt with such depth & compassion. His stories of life, love and the Navy have always inspired me. He holds a special place in my heart. Tim has left an everlasting legacy of love and strength that will live on through each of us, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Roberts, I can't thank you enough for those precious times you shared your wisdom with me and made me understand the world just a little bit better. The way you lived your life is a shining example of how a man can go about his business caring for his family and loved ones. You will be deeply missed by those whose lives you touched. As Brother & Sister growing up, Tim loved to play pranks on me, but he was my Hero. As adults, he was my Best & Dearest friend during both good and sad times.
He lived his life to its fullest with wit, integrity, compassion and friendship to all who knew him. Tim was a highly decorated Navy Captain, but most of all he deeply loved his family, friends and country.

He left a Void in my heart, but I am comforted that he will forever be a Shining Star in the Heavens, and his Spirit will remain with us eternally.

As a lasting word: we did not say Goodbye, but with a Hug, I said "Until we meet again, my Dear Brother."

What a wonderful and accomplished person. His smile says it all. I remember how kind and positive he was. He is not lost if we know where he is .... and we know he is walking on the streets of gold in heaven.. My prayers and love reach out to you Gloria, Sheridan, Danny and families.

I love you, Dad. Mom and I appreciated the shining rainbow yesterday through that afternoon sun-shower, So beautiful. You leave us better than we ever could have been without your imprint. We shared an inspiring song service in your memory on Saturday. Seth read (for everyone in the room!) one of his most gorgeous poems yet. Your life was one lived in sweetness, bravery, integrity, commitment .. and so much strength. I can't help but miss your physical presence (your eyes, your laugh, that last long sweet hug), but you do make a most amazing angel! I feel you everywhere. xoxo Sheridan

Danny, we just talked with David and he told us of your dads passing, l know he has been not doing well for a long while, David keeps us informed,he apparently fought a long battle, and being the tough guy he was , he fought a hard battle. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you and your Mom, give her a hug for us.
