Tim Stocks, 75, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, He was born in Roosevelt, Utah, to Doris and Artie Stocks on April 4, 1950. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Washington.
He was drafted into the United States Marine Corp in 1969 and gained the rank of Staff Sergeant until 1979. Tim was a proud Marine, and he served our country with so much pride in his heart.
After leaving the services he went on to work in the construction field where he led his life as one hardworking man.
Family was Tim’s priority; he always wanted those he cared about to be taken care of. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching his westerns.
Tim was an outstanding pool player and loved to teach others his skills. Tim was a story man and he could sit around with his friends and family and talk for hours about his time in the service and sing you any Marines hymn that came to his mind. He was a man of many trades and showed pride in all that he accomplished.
Tim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl Stocks; his children, Shane (Mandy) Stocks of Mississippi, Chance Stocks, Jack (Michelle) Monson of West Haven, and Lori Stocks of Ogden; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his brother, Lynn (Bertha) Stocks of Layton; and sister, Cheryl (Bill) Meeham of West Point.
