TIM VIDOR Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hamilton Funeral Homes-Rock Chapel in Braham on Sep. 5, 2025.
Mark Timothy "Tim" or "Skinny" Vidor, a loving husband, devoted father, and generous friend, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by his family.
Tim was born on September 1, 1966, in Cambridge, Minnesota, to Philip "Mark" and Janice (LeTourneau) Vidor. He grew up in Braham, graduating from Westview High School in 1985. Braham remained his home until he met the love of his life, Heidi (Lenarz), in November of 1987. They later married on June 10, 1995. Together they built a life in Cambridge, raising two children, Cory and Jessica, who were his greatest pride and joy. Tim also loved their cat, Max, who held a special place in his heart and would be found traveling with them, especially to the cabin.
Tim dedicated 34 years of his life to Bauerly Ready-Mix (Knife River), beginning as a hardworking teenager, graduating to concrete truck driver, and eventually becoming the plant manager of the Isanti facility. After 13 years of leadership in the concrete industry, he shifted gears, joining Menards where he enjoyed new challenges in both the Electrical and Building Materials departments.
Beyond work, Tim found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He loved spending time at the family cabin on Lake Vermilion-relaxing on the dock, boating, fishing, and hunting in the Cook area. Tim enjoyed golfing with the family. He was a longtime member of the Braham Sportsman's Club and was known for his iconic red shotgun known as "Big Red". He was a proud Vikings fan, a loyal Twins supporter, and a NASCAR enthusiast. He never missed a Vikings game, was there for the unforgettable "Minnesota Miracle," and cherished a trip to Lambeau Field with his brother and nephews to watch the Vikings take on the Packers. Tim was a dedicated NASCAR fan, enjoying trips to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kansas City Speedway with friends and family. This past February, he was thrilled to check off a longtime goal - attending the Daytona 500.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; sister Vicki Olson; father and mother-in-law Ralph (Angela) Lenarz; special relatives, Jim Heglund and Ray and Carol Pohto.
He is survived by his wife Heidi; children Cory Vidor (Cameron Winkleblack) and Jessica Vidor (Jacob Flom); brothers, Mitch (Gini) Vidor and Luke (Robyn) Vidor; brothers-in-law Dennis Olson and Mike (Tracey) Lenarz: beloved nieces and nephews, Kelli, Katie, Erin, Anna, Emily, Jamie, Josh, Derek, Tyler, Sydney, and Sophie; many other relatives and friends.
